Day 1: Welcome to Carrara Arrival in Carrara, the world capital of white marble. After check-in at your hotel, you will have the opportunity to relax and familiarise yourself with the lovely coastal town. In the evening, enjoy a delicious welcome dinner with typical dishes of Tuscan cuisine. Day 2: The Magic of Marble The day begins with a visit to one of Carrara's most famous marble quarries. Here you will discover the process of extracting and processing fine white marble and have the opportunity to take spectacular photographs. In the afternoon, an expert tour guide will take you on a walk through the historic centre of Carrara, where you can admire ancient churches and museums that tell the history of the city and its extraordinary marble tradition. Day 3: Taste of Tuscany Today we will visit a typical Tuscan area in the surrounding Carrara hills. Here you can taste local wines, olive oil and cheeses, and discover the secrets of Tuscan cuisine during an interactive cooking lesson. Day 4: Versilia and Relax on the Beach In the morning you will leave for the famous Versilia, one of the most renowned seaside resorts in Tuscany. You will spend the day by the sea, enjoying the sun and crystal clear waters. You will also have the opportunity to take a stroll along Viareggio's famous promenade, with its shops, cafes and restaurants. Day 5: Goodbye Carrara After a delicious breakfast, you'll have time to make your last purchases and savour an Italian coffee before leaving Carrara.
